I first met Farah when she was an undergraduate student at The City College of New York (CCNY) Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture.
I quickly recognized in Farah an enormous strength and capacity to go far beyond the classroom and studio experiences of the rigorous architecture curriculum. Her strengths include: leadership skills, commitment to public service and the ability to ignite enthusiasm among her peers and others.
Farah’s long-standing interest for clean energy, amplified by her experience with the Solar Decathlon, has led her decade-long pursuit of blazing a trail in the education, standards, policy and implementation of green energy on a macro and micro level.
